Business Development Manager (Jacksonville or South Florida)

As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you'll focus on developing new sales and managing the full sales cycle – from prospecting through close. We're looking for a driven “hunter” with a strong new business focus, someone who thrives on building relationships, navigating complex client needs, and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Identify client challenges and recommend tailored HR solutions that meet their specific needs
- Prospect, develop, and close new sales—with a primary focus on the California market and flexibility to sell throughout the West Coast and nationally
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and referral partners
- Conduct product demonstrations—with the help of internal partners—that highlight the value of AlphaStaff’s offerings
- Lead all aspects of the sales cycle—from prospecting and networking to proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing
- Represent AlphaStaff at industry events to expand your network and build brand awareness
- Collaborate with sales leadership and marketing teams to support strategic initiatives and lead generation
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets to support company growth
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in selling complex HR solutions, preferably with experience in the California market
- Strong relationship-building skills, especially with C-level executives
- Self-starter with the ability to manage the complete sales process with minimal support from sales admin/ops
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a consultative sales approach
- Highly motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely and in the field
- This is a remote position based on the West Coast
